Bringing Families Together
Through hands-on activities, lessons, and projects, Wyo Wonders introduces elementary students to the various aspects of Wyoming's core industries and how they impact our state and our lives. We want to get families engaged in the educational process by providing students with information and experiences that they're excited to talk about with their parents.
Exposure to Our State’s Vast Resources
Through hands-on activities, lessons, and projects, students will learn about the different aspects of Wyoming’s leading industries and how they impact our state and our everyday lives. Students will also discover how people in these industries work to protect our environment and provide us with the things we need to live, developing a deeper understanding and appreciation for the wonders of Wyoming.
Step Into
Stewardship
Students will develop an understanding of how to be stewards of our state. Through the Wyo Wonders curriculum, students will gain valuable experience around the factors that have shaped Wyoming's agriculture, natural resources, and outdoor recreation & tourism industries. This knowledge empowers students to become informed and engaged citizens, capable of effecting positive change in their communities and the world.
Development of
Critical Thinking
Wyo Wonders teaches critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are essential for students' future success. As they engage with real-world challenges and develop innovative solutions, they will be better equipped to navigate the challenges of the 21st century and thrive in a rapidly changing world. By learning about these industries early on, students can set themselves up for success and become well-prepared to contribute to the Wyoming economy.
